About Our Curriculum

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is the world’s largest open school and one of India’s three National Boards of Secondary Education. It offers flexible, self-paced learning through open and distance modes, supported by print and digital media. NIOS is authorized to enroll, examine, and certify learners up to the pre-degree level, maintaining standards on par with state and national boards. Its curriculum is developed in collaboration with educational experts, making it a strong pathway to higher education and careers. At Velammal Bodhi Campus, NIOS is offered at two levels:

Benefits of CBSE Education Syllabus

Empowering students with guided CBSE methods, building confident learners.

CBSE Board Syllabus 2025-26

The CBSE syllabus outlines all subjects for Classes 1 to 12, providing guided preparation for examinations. The most reliable information will always come directly from the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in).

CBSE Grade 1: A Gentle Introduction to Learning.

After preschool, the students step into the actual learning system. Juniors are helped to learn through concepts like poems, stories, and activities that would engage them and aid in preparing them for higher grades.

CBSE Grade 2: Interactive learning for better understanding

In Grade 2, the CBSE curriculum prioritizes creative thinking in students. Through poetry and prose, children are actively involved in reading and writing, and through EVS, they are given a proper understanding of the world around them. Math and language focus on familiarising the basic concepts.

CBSE Grade 3: Independent learning and exploration.

In grade 3, students expand their English knowledge through reading and writing while simultaneously building a foundation in key mathematical areas. This includes understanding patterns and interpreting data using charts. Language development is emphasised, with Hindi and English courses planned to improve communication and comprehension.

CBSE Grade 4: Strengthening core academic skills.

In this grade, the students are allowed to practice structured learning, strengthening core academic subjects. This includes literacy, arithmetic, practical application, communication, and complex vocabulary development.
